                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
                   EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH CSX
                   TRANSPORTATION, INC. RELATIVE TO
                   INSTALLATION OF AUTOMATICALLY CONTROLLED
                   FLASHING LIGHT SIGNALS AND GATES AT THE
                   JULIAN ROAD CROSSING NEAR THE ENTRANCE TO
                   THE COUNCIL FIRE SUBDIVISION AT AN ESTIMATED
                   COST OF EIGHTY-FIVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED
                   THIRTY-FIVE AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($85,535.00).
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to execute an Agreement with CSX Transportation, Inc. relative to 

       installation of automatically controlled flashing light signals
       and gates at the Julian Road Crossing near the entrance to the
       Council Fire Subdivision at an estimated cost of $85,535.00.
